Please be advised that Berge Med is a cash-up-front practice for ‘out-of-hospital’ consultations/procedures. The client/patient (or parent/ guardian) remains liable for the account for services rendered by Berge Med. The client/patient will be provided with the necessary documentation to claim back directly from his/her own medical aid.

Berge Med (Dr R van Berge) does not render the following services:

• Childhood immunisations

• Obstetric/pregnancy scans

• Procedures done under general anaesthesia

• Circumcisions

• Aesthetic medicine

• Berge Med does not serve as a casualty/emergency unit
  (Life-threatening emergencies will have to be referred to the nearest emergency unit)

To ensure better fluidity during consultations, you may download and complete the client/patient information sheet here and bring it with 10 minutes prior to appointment time if possible.
